TYPE & APPLICATION OPTIONS

Water extinguishers remain one of the most popular and effective fire extinguishers, offering excellent suppression of freely burning materials like paper, wood, cloth and furniture.

Foam extinguishers use a combination of water and aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF), which efficiently extinguishes paper, wood, textiles and flammable liquids (Classes A and B). The process forms a flame-smothering seal over the surface and prevents re-ignition.

Powder extinguishers are particularly suitable for vehicle protection, domestic and leisure use, such as caravanning or boating. They utilise ABC general purpose dry powder, which is non-toxic and non-abrasive. Applications include paper, wood, textile fabric (Type A), flammable liquids (Type B), flammable gases (Type C) and electrical hazards.

CO2 extinguishers are filled with liquid carbon dioxide, which vaporises when discharged. CO2 is harmless to delicate equipment and materials and so is ideal for use in modern offices with electronic risk and in industries where oil, spirits and other flammable materials feature.

The above extinguishers are all stored-pressure models, which remain under pressure until used
Simplicity of operation is a major design feature of all our extinguishers. Simply pull out the safety pin and squeeze the lever to operate. To control the discharge, release the hand pressure on the levers
All extinguisher models we supply are re-chargeable and can be serviced on your premises by our experienced engineers. We service and supply the majority of Northern England within a radius of 150 miles of Leeds (see map)
